WIKIPEDIA METHOD
+---------------------------------------------------------------------+

1. Find a Wikipedia page for a popular topic
+-- Example: "Paleo Diet" Wikipedia page

2. Run through a backlink tool (Ahrefs/Majestic)
+-- See who is linking to it

3. Identify sites using it as an authority link
+-- These are often private networks or SEO sites

4. Check what other niches those sites link to
+-- These reveal profitable niches people are working

Why This Works

  • SEO practitioners mix authority links (like Wikipedia) with money site links
  • Finding these patterns reveals active, profitable niches
  • You can discover thousands of niche ideas quickly
  • Niches with active SEO investment = proven monetization

Step-by-Step Process

  1. Pick a Popular Topic - Something with a well-linked Wikipedia page
  2. Export Backlinks - Use Ahrefs or Majestic
  3. Filter for SEO Sites - Look for patterns indicating SEO activity
  4. Analyze Their Categories - See what niches they cover
  5. Validate the Niche - Check affiliate programs, competition, search volume

Niche Validation Checklist

After finding a niche:

  • [ ] Competition is beatable (some DR < 40 in top 10)
  • [ ] Evergreen demand (not seasonal or trending)
  • [ ] You can create quality content
